Styling + Product Photography
Roll Skate Studio
While working with Roll Skate Studio for a few years now, I've had the pleasure of styling, shooting and editing a very fun range of skate products from their growing collection.
These images are popping up across social media and the shop’s website as well as marketing campaigns and print materials.
Styling
One of the best parts of the process is styling the shot. It’s all about mixing and matching the environment and props to really make the product pop.
There’s a lot of fun in playing around with the arrangement until everything looks just right!
Lighting
Even though studio lighting gives a lot of control, some of my favourite shots have been taken with natural light.
Like this one here, where a beam of sunlight peeked through the clouds and the brickwork, creating a beautiful spotlight effect.
Editing
Some images, like the one here, are composites. Multiple shots are combined to create a final image.
Editing can take a bit longer, but the final result is always worth it!
